Now if you have a corroded frame member from improper use of cleaners like a strong alkaline, That would require a new machine. The post are a weldment of the whole frame and not a serviceable item. Aluminum in direct contact with higher metals and moisture will form electrolysis that will eat out the aluminum. Add a strong acid or base to make more conductivity and it turns to aluminum oxide. a kind of white powder.

Sorry I can’t give you better information. But you may be able to plate it with another piece to get enough meat for the screws. alternately you could drill through to the other side and use longer screws to hold the hinge’s on. Up to you if you tap them and file off flush or us nuts.

What condition is the cooling fan bearings and motor/gears? Common for the needle bearing on top to go bad. Also the thermostats get worn and the kettle plug/lead. A new machine is only about $550 if you look around.
