    my pilot light goes out when you let out on knob after it lights with ignighter,put new thermal coupler on.any ideas for me plz

    Hi Elmer,

     

    Did you check for:

    Poor pilot flame? Gas pressure issue? Faulty valve? Airflow issue? Improperly installed THERMOCOUPLE?  (note the correct spelling)

     

    Few here would know anything about gas fire places (myself included), so can’t advise.  Within the scope of gas-fired equipment, we just do commercial cooking equipment and commercial dishwashers here.   Not residential fire places.

     

    My best advice is that you call a company that services gas fire places.
