Electric deep fryer shuts off just after a few seconds of turning it on.
The heat light turns on for a few seconds and turns off. Does this about four times and does not try to turn back on. The power light on control board stays on but the heat light stays off after the forth cycle.Â

Not knowing what fryer you have makes this a impossible one to help with as I have no idea as to what control system it is using. , Nor did you say if it heated at all.

The one thing I do know is that if you do not have a DVOM and know how to use it you will need to find a service tech that does. Contactor, control board, thermistors, heating elements, and power are all suspect.

CHECK the high limit switch if it is open fryer wont stay on
