    Hello,

Luckily Star has included wiring diagrams and a parts breakdown in this manual: http://download.partstown.com/is-bin/intershop.static/WFS/Reedy-PartsTown-Site/-/en_US/manuals/STA-CG-GR_spm.pdf

I’d download and save it for your records, as you never know when links will change.

With that said, I’ve never seen one broken down to the level you’re at, so hopefully the above manual will give some insight.

    Be careful!

It’s quite simple,   Disconnect power.  Remove the temp knob by pulling forward.  Remove the 2 screws on each side of the temp control shaft.  Turn unit upside down and remove bottom cover.  Mark and unplug the wires.   Unclamp the sensing bulb from the lower plate.  It can now be lifted out the bottom.

    Yup, like fixbear said.

Unit is light enough to flip over.  Remove the bottom panel.  It’s all layed out there before you.

    Uh…don’t forget to unplug it.

I love advising on this DIY stuff.
