compressor won’t start up on Manitowoc ice machine

The list of reasons can be very extensive even contacting Manitowoc’s tech line direct would most certainly be a waste of time because of this. Best option would be to call a service tech out to look at.

Regardless, sounds like the power switch is in the clean mode or the curtain is not closed on the reed switch. It could also be the high head reset (Red button next to the ice plate)

It’s a self-contained, air-cooled full-dice cuber.

 

My bet is on the magnet that’s broken off of the curtain.  Nevertheless, for the typical lack of feedback from those wanting help here, we shall never know.
