    Yes the fan compartment is freezing over. How do I fix it?

    Refer to the troubleshooting section of this manual:

    There’s an extremely high probability that the manual linked above is NOT your unit.  I simply picked a manual for ONE of nearly 500 Randell models.  Since you didn’t do so much as provide YOUR model number, that’s all the effort I’ll put forth on this matter.

    You mentioned “lower freezer”  So you must have a 2 or 4 half  door freezer.  Now if the top is not freezing up, but the bottom is you have a problem.  Check your gaskets, door, and fan motor. Note humidity and usage level.  Lastly the defrost system.  But that requires a tech to do.  Please supply your model number so we know what you have and how it is built..
