After oil gets to temp and burner shuts off the pilot light goes out also. this is a Vulcan EF3 fryer. what do you think is the problem?

Does this happen on any temperature you set it on?

check the actual temp the oil is getting to.

If the temperature is going way too high then you could have a bad thermostat and therefore cutting out the high limit.

Or if your pilot flame is turning off at 350 degrees then you have a bad high limit

 

You need to know the temperature of your oil!
