Maintenance #1 message
Perform regeneration
I am trying to access the technical menu but its protected to check if i can descale it without doing it manually…
Any assistance will be appreciated.

Yes this is the manual i was referring to, didn’t come across the technician passwords.
They provided the manager password which is Limited. -
They won’t provide the passwords as they are put in by the service tech that set the machine up to protect the service company that installed it. They need to see the machine at least once a year to install service kits and updates. You have a very sophisticated coffee machine that is modular and being Swiss made very precise. They should be in the computer of the machine to contact them.
It is also made to have maximum up time by having replacement modules. Most are rebuildable and are just swapped out as needed.

Swal3h, Are you sure of the message, not a W_ _ or a E_ _. Regardless, regen is normally the water softener. Either the internal accessory one or the house one. It does check water hardness.
By the way, they do use 2 factory codes to get into the tech menu. 1849 and 2408. But most service companies upon install change them.
