Having an issue with HCM 51-20 [(irinox) (servolift) (eastern)?] blast chiller that is now throwing error codes and will not cycle on. It is displaying AS1 (and also AS2 depending on which mode I’m attempting to start in). It only started after giving a deep clean, but now the unit is inoperative. Hoping someone can point me in a direction to test some components before ordering crazy expensive repair parts. Anyone there know what the expected resistance of the probes should be (if tested with ohmmeter) to know if they are ok and trace the problem between sensors and the board? Any other troubleshooting ideas? Is there a technical service manual available for this unit, have been unable to find it!

We’re very remote, getting a technician out here is probably not a likely scenario.

    Thank you!

I can’t find that specific model, but this is one close to it with the codes. Your AS1 is the air probe. AS2 is the product probe. It sounds more like a connection problem from the cleaning. Either chemical reaction or mechanical movement. This is where I found it.

Thanks for the link. We did find similar manual and knew these two codes were temp probes. Were hoping to find out if someone knew the range of resistance in the probe so we could test and rule out before spending crazy amount on replacement parts. Unsure if problem is the probes or the board itself, and if there’s any way to troubleshoot this before just replacing.

MCD IHT here… Not an MCD approved vendor of equipment, so if it is in a MCD, it’s a franchisee with a one off…. FWIW
