An “Overload” error can happen whether the motor spins for a couple of seconds or doesn’t spin at all. It’s a sign that something might be off with the motor or its components.
If the motor spins for a bit and then stops, check the speed sensor and jumper wire. They could be faulty and need replacing. Make sure that the magnet disc is in good shape. If it’s damaged or missing, you’ll probably need to replace the motor. If the motor doesn’t spin at all, worn-out brushes might be the culprit. There could be a bad connection between the control board and the motor. In that case, you might need to replace the motor or fix any loose connections. The error code gives you a clue about what’s wrong. A bit of troubleshooting will help you find the exact issue!
