Blodgett zephaire wont heat up
With the doors closed the convection fan is on but nothing else happens even when set at 500 degrees. The heating light doesn’t come on and it doesn’t try to ignite. Is it a bad thermostat?

Could be:
Faulty temperature control board An iffy potentiometer Bad temperature probe Failed ignition module Ignitor shorting to ground Blown transformer A loose wire or something else that I haven’t thought ofSo, the only way to know what’s wrong is to troubleshoot it.

Let’s not forget the convection motor switch.

1234jg, we will be happy to help you with this, but will need the model number and either serial number or a picture/description of the control panel. They used more than 5 different ones. Also is it gas or electric?
If gas, make sure the valve is fully open and if it has a disconnect, that it is fully inserted and locked.
You will have to be fully familiar with and have a DVOM to troubleshoot it.
