    Hello I have the RANCO 324-28994-00F T-Stat with the Dial.

    it also has the small dials for Cut in and Cut out.

     

    I can see having the Cut in with the Dial. But is it reduntand to have the dial and the Cut in and cut out?

    It is not good practice to play with the range screws on that control. If the temp of the air in the box is not going over it it may read wrong.  Other than that, replace the control.
