Hoshizaki Dishwashers and cooking equipment?

I never knew they did dishwashers, so I googled “Hoshisaki dishwasher” and found this:

For cooking equipment, looks like they make a combi-oven for the Japanese market:

I guess if their biggest ice machine competitor can buy up cooking and warewashing companies, Hoshi will make their own instead.

QUESTION:  When Manitowoc scooped up Frymaster, Delfield, Kolpak, Lincoln, Garland and many others with their acquisition of Enodis in 2008, wasn’t Jackson initially included in there?

 

I ask for three reasons:

That’s what my memory tells me. Jackson’s website (Better-Built Commercial Dishmachines : Jackson, dishwashers, conveyor type, washing dishes, glasses, pots, pans, flatwar… ) still has the same format as all other Manitowoc manufacturers.  And… Per Hoshizaki’s website,  JACKSON is now partnered with Hoshizaki.  Look at the bottom of Hoshi’s website.

Manitowoc DID own Jackson but sold it to Hoshizaki a couple years ago. I’m not sure why..seems strange to me.
