I have an lx 30 with p2 code. It seems like it is because of the temperature not being hot enough. If the customer is fine with using low temp chemicals and it is reaching proper temp for that, is there a real big issue. the machine needs 180 for incoming but machine is at 160. Is it detrimental for the machine?

Not having the ML number, we can’t tell what design it is. But normally incoming water is 140F and the booster brings it to 180F Chemical sanitizing machines have no booster and operate at the 140F. But they cost more to operate and do not dry well. Wash tanks are also heated to maintain set temp. Most LX30’s I’ve seen have a booster with a Hatco control board that communicates with the main board to tell it when it is ready. Could be just a cable connection.
