    Hello,

I have 2 Kuppersbusch BP6550.0 convection ovens about 10 years old. We installed them and cant get them to to stay on. I’m able to run one function, and then the board goes blank. any help would be amazing.

Oh, and if the board is going blank, it is usually a communication wiring problem or voltage supply

It can also be a environmental problem like high temperatures or humidity in the kitchen.

Does the unit have a water supply like a Combi oven?

Emily Andelin Hughes, I did some digging on this and it seems it’s a domestic oven that I can’t get past their firewalls for documentation. This site is primarily for commercial equipment tech’s. But the idea of a catalytic heating system is intriguing to say the least. I’m not certain were to send you as they are not sold in the North America.

If you have a wiring schematic for it I would be willing to look at it and maybe provide a bit of insight as to if it has safeties or something simple. But I suspect you may be having a control board thermo failure due to the age. Most of the equipment we see has cooling fans for the control board. They are just small muffin fans that die after 8 to 10 years of service. And electronic controls don’t fair well at higher temp’s.
