Machine is approx. 7yrs old. Top control panel does not light up. Machine only works when put into test mode by pressing button on control board, at that time the power button on at panel faintly lights up blue. Faulty control board, faulty panel board, or ??? Other than that, makes perfect ice as long as you keep resetting the test switch. Thanks in advance…

Interesting that you have a Neo. Have you run a full control pad test. Or reset the control board to original.

If the lights don’t light, check the cable from the control board to the remote touch pad. Service manual will explain how it works and what to look for here;

I forgot to mention that if you need the membrane pad, It’s part of the door frame. Parts manual is here

Item 1 on page 13. The plug for the membrane is the long thin one just to the left of the test button. I think it is 14 terminals as I recall.
