    Hello,

I have oven # NGC0610950. The high limit switch in this unit continually trips. I have replaced the HL with a new one. It works for about 1 minute of cooking then says “cooling down” at which point the HL has tripped. I also tried replacing the solid state relay, this had to affect.

Is the blower fan working correctly?

Use a remote thermometer to see if the oven is in fact running away temp wise before replacing anything. If so, confirm that the temperature control is not calling for heat when it gets to set temp.

If the control stops calling for heat , but the heat still rises, you have a relay problem. It may not be the SSR that is the problem, but a small electrical leak getting to the control side. It only need 4 to 5 volts to hold it on. Leakage can be just moisture and dust where it doesn’t belong.
