Hello. I have three Pacojet Junior that does not extend the shaft when starting. After a while I get error P0, and the Pacojet stops. The shaft moves freely up/down and rotates when I do it manually. If I remove the magnet on the tachometer (the RPM circuit board) on the top, the shaft is going all the way down regardless of how many portions i select. I suspect a sensor or something simple?

The weird thing is, same problem on all three Juniors I have.

The P0 error code is overfill. As you Pacotize a product it can expand over 30%. Drop your initial loading of the product container a little bit. It should be below the fill line when it is taken out of the freezer. Freezing a product also makes it expand. Also if your trying to make a product that has gas like CO2 or nitrogen, it will fool the sensors since it also increases the expansion.

I’m not sure, but I think you can remove the beaker and reduce the volume a bit when it errors. That should reset the error code.

Thanks, but it happens with even empty beakers. But when I remove the RPM sensor board, it goes all the way to the bottom.

There is an electronic clutch coil that will engage the drive shaft. Since removing the RPM board makes it engage, I suspect there is a sensor or some electronic fault, that makes the clutch not receive the correct signal.

Power to the coil disengages the clutch. Removing the board would cause it to engage. Spring washer engages the friction surface.

Edit: I didn’t remove the RPM bord, just the spinning magnet on the top.

Ok, there isn’t much out there on that machine. It also isn’t in the US that I can tell. But logic tells us that if you have 3 machines doing it, it’s something in you environment. Like the cleaning solutions or handling of the machine.

This is a shaft breakdown that I have questions on; Exploded view 3 for Pacojet PACOJET JUNIOR

What is 19.9 and 19.11? Is 19.6 a seal or magnet. I suspect that since they have a special lubricant, that that inner shaft has to be very free to slide.

I see the clutch and drive pulley in this one: Exploded view 2 for Pacojet PACOJET JUNIOR

I don’t understand what pushes the cutter down, but I suspect it may be air pressure, and that shaft has a seal. I see no actuators in the parts drawings to push it down. So the 19.9 air port would become very important. especially if clogged. Hope this helps.
