I’ve got a SCC 62G that’s leaking like a sieve only when it cleans. When it’s cooking it seems fine. The water is all coming out of the overflow box underneath at the back end of unit by the drain. What’s happening that the water is coming out of there and not going down the drain?

Seems like you have a clog or obstruction somewhere in the drain. The unit doesn’t rely on the drain as much when it is cooking. You are usually boiling the water and releasing steam along with some liquid in the condensate drain.

When the oven is condensing or cleaning it uses water to reduce the steam to a condensate. often some cooking operations produce grease that makes a sludge in the condensate box or drain. You may have to remove the box and clean it and the drain.

Had this problem before you have to reduce your water pressure to control your flow rate this corrected my problem.
