Getting power to the Hot gas valve during freeze cycle.
Sent the board out to have repaired and it still does the samething. Purchased new board and it’s doing the same thing.
I have no clue what else to check.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is it at the board your checking or the solenoid? Sounds like a crosswire condition in the harness. Does the board indicator lights say it is powering the solenoid?

I’m getting between 20-30 volts at the control board brown/white wire and at the and the solenoid. If i unplug the solenoid it will make ice but won’t havest and shuts down. It started doing it overnight while trying to fill the ice bin for a fishing trip.

Light comes on for a few seconds before freeze cycle starts.

Voltage climes to 70volts after a few mins.

Do you have terminal release tools? The solenoid is on a relay. On the board. If yo can measure the terminals without the solenoid wires connected to the board, that will tell you if it’s coming from the board or else ware. I believe it’s a 110V coil on the valve. So with 30 volts it could be induced from the wires bundled with compressor feed. Also look for minerals built up on electrical connections. Add water and it will track power. Same with residual cleaners. And those are hard to see, but the humidity inside the machine will track trace power. Especially if it started in a heat wave in your area.
I don’t want to overwhelm you, but measure the amps to the solenoid when in ice mode. If it is induced bleed we can always add a resistor across the coil terminals to bleed the trace.

The fifth led on the bottom of the controller is the hot gas. Was it lit during icemaking? Does it go out after harvest? That directly indicates the relay position that powers the valve.

BTW, did you confirm that the HGV was open by checking the evaporator inlet line to be hot? Solenoid valves have to have full voltage to pull-in, but 70% will hold them in once open.

One other thing I forgot. The nuetral wire of the HGS does not go directly to the L2 of the contactor block, but to the dump valve. Then to the L2 That is a likely place for broken wire.
