Water keeps running
When my ice o matic harvests ice it runs the water out the back emptying the water tray. What it has always done. Until the ice falls then it stops filling water tray up & begins to make more ice. Now however after it harvests ice it doesnt stop draining the water so the water tray never fills back up to make more ice. If i push the purge switch it stops running out the back & fills the water tray back up. I have to do this after every ice harvest or it just continues to run the water out the back.

Ok, you have a Ice-O-Matic machine. But that doesn’t tell us much. The model and age would be nice.
It sounds like the drain valve isn’t closing. But it apparently does when you hit the purge. That means the valve is ok. But for some reason it’s being powered after the harvest. Or the machine doesn’t know it has completed a harvest.
