• Check the high limit – Always start by resetting the high limit. Remove the panel and the black cap to access the switch. Simply press the button to reset it. If this doesn’t clear the code, there may be a bigger issue causing it.
• Check the relay – With the unit on, set your multimeter to amperage AC. If you get no amperage being drawn, switch to volts AC and check for power coming in and out of the relay. Put your lead to the white wire on the terminal block and then check incoming power to the relay. Then check what’s coming out. Then check volt DC as well. Ensure the values are correct. If not, the relay may need to be replaced.
