U.S. Refrigerant Phase Out Chart & Info

In the United States, hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) refrigerants are being slowly phased out from production or being importing. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) still allows many of these types of HCFCs refrigerants to be used in repairs or retrofitting. However, without new production, the cost is becoming more expensive to purchase these refrigerants and any of their subsequent service equipment. Below a refrigerant phase out chart that outlines what's already been halted and what events are coming soon.
