Multiplex Flomatic Lever Replacement Instructions

Multiplex beverage equipment relies on a properly functioning auto-fill lever. This component is crucial for controlling the flow of water or syrup to ensure consistent operation. If it’s malfunctioning or broken, it’s important to replace it quickly. Learn how to replace the flomatic lever in a Multiplex unit with our step-by-step guide.
This guide will focus on replacement instructions for the auto fill lever retro-fit kit RFA-35, which can be used on the Flomatic 424-A30,454-A30 and 464-A30 valves.
- Step 1—Remove the lever retaining clip with the ground wire. The ground wire will be used for installing the new lever.
- Step 2—Cut the connector off the new, replacement lever. Make sure to cut as close to the connector as possible.
- Step 3—Route the new lever’s leads between the orifice caps.
- Step 4—Splice the two leads together, then connect them to the ground wire with a butt connector.
- Step 5—Plug the ground lead back into the valve solenoid, then attach the new lever retaining clip.
- Step 6—Install the valve on the mounting block.
