My DFW Model 150 has started leaking from the bottom.  The tubes appear ok, and there is not a crack in the steam generator.  Also, I pulled the spray tube out to inspect it, and now can’t get it back in the tube.  The water reservoir also is not cracked and holds water.  The unit is about 2 years old.  Any suggestions on what to try next?

    Gravity prevails.

Not sure if I’ve ever worked on one of these, but if it’s not leaking from the strainer, then I’ve been known to perch a unit up on something to get a look-see underneath while all covers are removed.  Then, after swabbing all traces of moisture up to where it’s bone-dry – start from the beginning.

Turn the water on.  Is it leaking when the unit is off?

Turn the unit on.  Is it leaking when the unit is on but not calling for a little steam session?

Do a little steam cycle.  Is it leaking after I blasted the heating platen with water for some steam?
