I think I understand his problem.  They haven’t made the High Volume Grinder since 1995. And most parts for that old girl are no longer available. Being it acts as the fan that moves the coffee,  it takes a beating. It would grind a pound of coffee very quickly and retain next to nothing internally to limit cross contamination of beans..

 

If your burrs are dull,  You would be farther ahead buying a G2 or G3 replacement.  Your parts would be more than a new grinder.
