    Hi

    I have a stainless old vitamix that stopped this morning.  Well, the motor didnt.  The blade just stopped spinning.  I think the socket under the pitcher has just been wore down to nothing and no longer has any grip for the motor to spin.  My question is if I order the socket kit are they the same size for my older model as the new ones?  Help, Im lost without my morning shake!

    Apologies Lori.  I don’t have an answer.  I hope you find a solution.

     

    Vitamix states they support their equipment up to twenty years old.  Their first model 3600 came out in 1969.  I looked around and found absolutely no manuals or parts listings for that model of blender.
