Why may there not be any power?
The machine suddenly stopped running. What may be the problem?

Depending on the model and type of machine it could be a safety switch that tripped in the unit, due to overheating or a ground fault.

Could also be the circuit breaker at the panel blew or a fuse blew inside the unit due to an internal power fault in the unit or a component failed somewhere. Those are more likely to be the cause on a “sudden stop”.
