What does message hd1 mean on my Pitco ssh75 deep fryer?
My model ssh75 fryer keeps displaying hd1 with a timer? I cheked the manual and am still unsure about what it means. Your help is appreciated. Thank you.Â

HD is heat demand.It’s waiting for the ignition to send back 24 volts to tell it it lit.

I know this is a very late reply, however, HD1 followed by a countdown timer is the HOLD time for timer #1. If you wish to delete the HOLD time then we will need to know what controller you have.
