I am in need of a controller and probe for my Vulcan tilt skillet, However I am not able to find the model number on the equipment to ensure I order the right part. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I don’t know where Vulcan puts the data plate on those. You might need to employ a screwdriver to access behind panels. Sometimes a data plate is just GONE, so you’re forced to match it to pictures from the manufacture’s literature. I’ve had to do that…too many times.

Here are Vulcan’s links to the spec sheets on all the braising pans they make. Maybe you can match yours to one of these spec sheets.:
Check wherever the gas valve is located, or where the trunnion is for the tilt mechanism. Has to be one of those or near them. Normally in a place you don’t touch so the sticker stays fresh forever more.
If you have the original “Installation & Operation Manual” filed away somewhere, it will tell you which model as well the specific location of the data plate for the model to obtain the serial number for warranty registration. Most of the Vulcan units place it inside the right side panel facing the front.
