Model sms50a002. Under conter ice machine
My ice machine pumps water when you put it on clean but when you switch it to make ice the water turns off when the compressor clicks on. It will not come back on.

You must be referring to a SM50A residential machine, since that’s the nearest variation to that lengthy model you’d typed. That problem cannot be diagnosed with the information that you’ve provided.Â

Sounds like a control issue (maybe a faulty board, relay or wiring) which will require a technician to look at it.
