we have imperial model IR-2-G24-36 oven burner wont light ,pilot light still on

There are a few veriables that go into this including a clogged orifice or a clogged/restricted burner. My recomendation would be to have a tech look at this.

I believe That model range uses a Teddington gas valve/thermostat/safety. If you have a sustained pilot, then the safety curcuit is ok. You’ll need a new thermostat valve.  But I’m uncertain of that model number because of the 2.  Look at the oven control valve to se if it looks like this;

Now if you have a later model IR2000-24,  It will be different with a BASO valve underneath.
