i  have a Turbo Air refrigerator (double door glass commercial cooler)model TGM35R, I HAVE to turn down the thermostat control knob to 0 to prevent beverages to froze.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH I love it when this happens,

Most likely the thermometer telling the box what temperature it is, is broken. IF you are a tech and even if you aren’t you can ohm out the thermometer and it will give you a resistance reading. Call Turbo air with that and say “Hey, I got a model this and serial that, what’s the resistance readings for the air thermometers measuring the temp?” And they will say something like “260 ohms” and then you say “Oh, mine here is only 100” and they go “well you need a new one”

    The end.

Seen it many times, the green, glass pelligrino bottles actually explode….. or they break at the least.

Does it have a digital display/controller?

One of two things.  Either the T’stat isn’t bonded to the evaporator coil,  or it need replacing.  This is the part number: http://www.partstown.com/turbo_air/trba30283m0710;sid=9rwVIAImNOMVIFs18TAhLqrmlf9EDWFlp5E=
