could anyone tell me the rating of the capacitor for a d300 hobart mixer

In that link, choose product group FOOD MACHINES Scroll down to Discontinued Products and then to Planetary There are SIX parts manuals on D300 series mixers, spanning from 1966 to 2005.

 

Hint: When researching for parts on Hobart equipment, always provide a model number, serial number and the ML number that can be found on the equipment’s data plate.  Since you hadn’t, I had peruse all six parts manuals to be sure I was giving you the correct info.

Motor start problems on these are usually the centrifugal start switch inside the motor.
