Can anyone remember what name Taylor used on there ice machine’s. They had a large round head and several plates around in a circle with a heavy spring actuator that tripped the plates about 3 inches on the outside for harvest. Harvest was a huge Bang that would scare a new server to jump.

I did some looking into the history of Taylor, it says they made ice machines under the name ITV Ice Makers, Inc.

    ITV | Taylor AFS
Is that what you were looking for?

NO, that is today. This was in the 80’S just before they stopped in the mid 90’s  The harvest mechanism was massive with a coil spring that had 5/16 wire coils. Heavier that some of today’s car suspensions. The leverage arm was a casting about 2.5 inches thick and over a ft long The condenser unit was special built and set in the middle of the evaporator.on top of the water cooled condenser.
