Manitowoc Indigo Series Icemaker. Produces a full sheet of ice in avg 15 minutes. Harvest cycle initiates, then immediately terminates after about 2 seconds, and the machine goes back to freeze cycle without releasing the ice. A manual harvest produces the same 2second harvest. Any ideas?

cover harvest reed switch is activating. Is the machine level.

We haven’t heard back from him. Next step would be to properly clean the machine and test the thickness microphone. They are two function and need to be clean for continuity as well as have the correct ohm readings forward and reverse. Also set at 7 mm or 9/32 from the plate. One also has to evaluate the ice sheet for evenness top to bottom. The Indigo design is a bit different from older machines and other brands. There are troubleshooting leds on the control board that tell you what is happening.
