Why would people bother spamming about actual repairs or problems? What’s the point?

Spammers pretend to blend in using innocent sounding replies, then hide links in their posts. These posts are then picked up by search engines giving their spam site more “gravitas” and higher search rankings.
The technology on our back-end blocks 100’s of attempts weekly, but this one sadly make it through. The member who “bumped” this thread tried to make it seem like he had a genuine reply to this article…
And now you know a bit more about forum spamming. I will always do what I can to keep the community neat and tidy. ?
