I have a blogett oven CTB-1, Which spade does the 2 purple wires go on the new temp controler, the top or bottom one, thanks Jim D.

There are seven different types of temperature controls for a CTB, so you’ll need to be more specific.

 

Better yet, here’s a manual with schematics in it.  Same manual that technicians use.  Your answer should be in there:

HINT:  PURPLE is usually called VIOLET in electrical diagrams.  “V” for short.
