1 heating element is not heating up.  It has power going to the 2 legs but there’s no amperage reading

Since “548TCD” doesn’t match any model numbers I searched for, that may be two typos in your inquiry.  There’s such a thing as a “548TGD”.  Is that what you meant?

If you don’t knoe hoe, then perhaps you should call a service company.  Replacing an element in an electric “plancha” can be a might tricky.  You could break a bunch of stuff if you don’t observe some “just prudence”.  Besides, there may be other issues you might miss fixin’.

I would check for ohms through the element before determining a replacement.

Ohm check: Disconnect the heating element from circuit, check for continuity.

If continuity good, while the element is disconnected, check for voltage with respect to ground on both connections to the element. Should be 120 volts on both connections.

If you are checking voltage with the element connected in the circuit and reading only 120 volts with respect to ground from either end of element and no current flow, then one leg of your source voltage is open.
