AO Smith Water Heaters
Problems with new AO Smith water heaters. BH 300 series. Bearings on all 4 blower motors went out within roughly a year from the time the new kitchens were turned over to us. And they say whole assembly has to be replaced. Which I did. Anyone ever tried removing the bearing and sourcing one? Those blowers are $1400 each

The fact that you are having 4 go down at once in one year is an indicator of defect in either the application, the installation, or manufacturing design. I’d be in touch with the AO Smith field rep on this one. They may have had a bad bunch of motors from a sub-contractor.
