Home Forums varimixer won’t start. it only makes buzzing noise and then it trip the breaker fuse. what is wrong with it?

    Hmmm…

     

    Out of the DOZENS of models they’ve made through the years, you couldn’t provide the model number that YOU have.  So I’ll just offer a small list of possibilities which may affect any of them. 

     

    From what you described, it sounds like the motor isn’t able to start rotating.  SO…here it goes:

    A faulty electrical outlet (3 Ø unit) A faulty electrical plug or cord (3 Ø unit) Faulty internal wiring of equipment One bad pole in contactors (3 Ø unit) A bad start capacitor – if required (single Ø unit) A bad motor winding

     

    These are just some of the possibilities…off the top of my head.

    Let’s not forget friction. In other words a load beyond what the motor is able to turn
