  • How do I replace a Jade Range clevis pin

It is a 15 year old 4 burner with a welded U shaped piece that holds the rocker and supports the pin. There seems to be no access to the back side of the pin. Can the floor be removed?

With out a model number I can’t help much. Some of the Jade’s had floor panels you could remove.  I have also seen some that you had to remove the floor, heat shields and burner.  A brake spring tool from a auto parts supplier comes in handy on them.

You have to pull the burner and the pilot assembly out, then there’s enough room to reach the clevis pin on the hinge pin for the door spring trunnion, tight fit, not at all comfortable if the oven isn’t at room temperature and don’t be surprised if there’s blood involved when the job is done.
