I am hoping someone has a list of the most common parts to keep in stock on your truck. I have moved forward with doing my own service calls. I realize parts veri from manufacturer to manufacturer but there are some common parts like switches, fuses, relays heating elements ect. Just looking for the basics. Maybe Parts Town has a list or an inital load list to stock on a new truck.

I try to keep capacitors on hand, On/Off switches, door gaskets, igniters & flame monitors, some of the more general gas valves that can be used in all 3 spark systems but meet the generic specs in terms of voltage and pipe size as well as BTU’s.

Otherwise you’d have to keep one of everything.

But if most of the stuff you do is Cleveland, they use a lot of the same manufactuers across their equipment, like the OGS 20.20 Combi oven and the holding oven and their tilt skillets as well as their steamer all use the same physically sized switch, so keeping a couple of different variations of that size is helpful.

I noticed that some parts such as relays have general purpose items, I would get some of those.

Also I posted this earlier, but if you have specific brands that you will work on like oliver stated, I would go through the trouble shooting sections of those manuals and get those parts they call for to resolve the issues stated as they are known and I would go as far as to say “common issues”.
