    Just purchased and installed this ice maker, but the arm is stuck in the up position, it still is making ice. Do you think I got a bad unit? or it has to do something with the settings? Thanks

    I assume that you are talking about a domestic refrigerator/freezer. The icemakers on those have a arm that is normally up till harvest. The arm then comes down to sense if the bin is full. If it can not drop to a certain point, the icemaker will pause till it can.

    I would need the refrigerator model number to help further.
