BKI Combi Hose reel replacement
I have a customer with a BKI Combi King model ETE102-R with a ruptured hose on the retractable hose reel. Can the hose be cut back and sprayer nozzle be reinstalled or does the hose reel require replacement? And if it requires replacement, what is the best way to remove/replace it?

There really isn’t a reason the hose can’t be cut shorter provided it will meet the customers needs. However, I not sure that hose reel isn’t something that the customer added aftermarket. I’m not familiar with it coming with an attached reel and hose.

The hose reel and length was spec’d to some of our customers and stayed that way, if the hose was cut shorter then the winding mechanism will be off and may lock and not function as it should.
For the EVO units the hose reel (BKIAN1043340S)is accessible though the front of the unit.
1. remove the bottom door gasket and you will see some rivets
2. under that same panel should be 4 screws and the whole panel can lift out.
