Are you referring to the main Cook/Cool switch? If so I can see the confusion as you have 3 red wires that go to different places. center terminal gets brown. On the same side the terminal that is oppisite of the side you push for cook gets the red that goes to the door switch normally open (no). The other red on that side also goes to the door switch on the normally closed terminal (nc). make sure the door switch white is on the common.
Now the other side. Center terminal is the white wire. The cook side gets the red and the purple goes on the cool side. Remember that you are energizing the opposite terminals to the side you push down.

Hope this helps.
