Is it a A01091 that you bought or the Globe A420A Chute
-
it is the A01091

There is a offset stud that goes between the upper slide rail and lower slide rail bearings that changes the angle of the chute. By rotating that stud you can align the chute.

let me see if I can explain it better.I can not get the chute support A01090 to slide on to the upper slide assembly A01088. The new chute support has a different female end that the male end of the upper slide assembly has’ This is very hard to explain.maybe a picture would help.

Any idea how old this machine is?
-
Is it built for the north American market?
Serial number may help.
Is the “V” the same width as the old one? If not, the hardened block that is screwed to the upper slide may be the change that was made way back. Measure the diameter of the upper slide bar before ordering a new A01088 slide bushing assembly. It may be a different diameter. If so you may have to contact Globe to confirm that you can get the right parts to repair it.

Vinnie, I think at this point you have to either return that one and order <strong style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;”>A01875, or buy the upper bearing to mount on. The AO1088 isn’t shown as in stock but the AO 1875 is with Partstown. I don’t know where you sourced the chute, but you could check with them if the same is available.
You can find it here; Globe A01875 Bushing And Chute Assembly, GC512 | Parts Town
