That’s why I suggested you check with the manufacturer as to the alloy. Having Titanium means it’s either 430 or 610. Think jet engine exhaust nozzle’s. Weldable yes, but requires preheat and post heat management.

Good point, I didn’t catch onto that.

The wall of the unit I doubt is anything other than 304, the heat exchanger itself, you could be right about that.
