    Our Moffat Turbofan 31 oven is overheating.  Any ideas why?

    Yes.  There’s a failure within the electrical circuit which controls the temperature.

     

    Since you didn’t provide a model number and other pertinent information, that’s all I can offer.

     

    Kinda like telling a auto parts guy you need a part for your Ford Mustang.  They will ask you what year-model, what size engine and other specific stuff…before they can help you. 

     

    With regards to your oven, I don’t know what type of controls your specific oven has, what voltage it uses, how many amps it draws and (did I already mention?) other stuff. 

     

    Troubleshooting your oven is IMPOSSIBLE to do over the internet.  I suggest that you call a service company to have a technician look at it.
