Having an issue with my Electrofreeze shake machine. The mix comes out at the correct temperature but the hopper on the top that holds the mix will not stay below 41 degrees. Does anyone know what the issue may be? We have completed about 3,000 dollars in different repairs but nothing has worked.

I would need a model number to know how the unit works.

What parts were replaced and what was the reason for them being replaced? what diagnostics have been done on this machine? with the limited information i would be making a wild guess at what could be the issue.

The big question is does it have a separate cooling system for the tank. They made/make both depending on the level of the machine. Model number will help on this.

If it has a separate compressor and tubes around the outside of the tank, it will be a small roughly 1/12 hp compressor that cools the tank. Make sure the fan that cools the condenser ( small one about 6 by 6 ) works and is clean. everybody forgets this one. Also it will have a Ranco adjustable thermostat hidden inside to control it. Most I’ve worked on had a simple cap tube metering for the tank. With R134. R404 for the main compressor. If a Cap tube system is low on refrigerant, it will run warm just like a loss of condenser function.
